In terms of infrastructure, I’ve decided to move to GitHub’s native page support using Jekyll. Although HubPress was neat and all, I found myself missing writing in vim and customizing it seemed to have an overhead I didn’t want any part of. I’ve taken a theme from online - this might seem counterintuitive to what I like doing but that’s not the point of a blog. I wanted a blog to write, not as another programming task. It’s a good thing that I was finally able to see that and just go the easiest possible way in order to get writing.

I highly recommend that people give Jekyll a shot with GitHub pages especially if they like using their own text editor.
